Mark: I would suggest you and Bernie probably have the correct answer. A low battery and a wet plug just do not fly at night or any other time.

I have also found that if the battery is a bit low on charge, it won't
start, even though it will crank.  Watching the voltage reading on the
EM-2 during cranking will give an indication.  If I recall correctly,
somewhere around 9v is the absolute limit.

May have been that I got it flooded and my battery was not charged good.
