I have had several experiences with coolant
"O" ring failure (for reasons I won't repeat here). And even while
I've even managed to cause TES "O" rings to fail (through no fault of
the "O" rings) - I have never had a stock outer coolant "O" ring
fail. So while I used TES inner "O" rings, I have had no problem with the
stock outer "O" rings. As several folks have already mentioned, if they
(outer rings) fail due to overheating, the engine is likely trash in
any case. FWIW

Rings
That’s *inner* TES in the kits. If I started handling sales
of single parts I would have absolutely no life left at all : ) I agree
with Rusty, if you overheat the non TES outer O-ring, the engine is
toast anyway.

Rusty,
Tracy only supplies TES Outer in his Kit
not by themselves - as Laura informs me!

I know some the group will
like to see the last of the posts about TES
seals !!

I don't mind the posts, but I didn't see an answer as
to why you're putting yourselves (and us <g>) through all
this. Bruce already sells the inner TES o-rings that fit, but I
don't know what they cost. Is this Creavey place that much
cheaper? I know Bruce doesn't include TES outer o-rings in his kit,
but he might have them if you demand it. Do you have any
reason to imagine that you'll ever need the higher temp rating on the
outer seal?
Cheers,
Rusty (very hot...)
