I hesitate to enter this fray but one of my pet peeves is the fact that we are all made to be criminals by the letter of the law.  If you can't think of a single example, you aren't trying.

67.413 SPECIFICALLY states that an airman who refuses a request for his records is subject to suspension, modification or revocation of certificate or denial in case of application. I don't fly FARs, I teach groundschool.  Mike C. AGI
