Bob & Burly,

I'm developing my own PSRU for the Aussie market and see some advantages in
not using the engine oil. This is mainly because of the contaminates in
engine oil, heat, fuel, carbon etc.

MY bearings are not the same as Tracy's so I don't need pressure feed (plain
bearings do need pressure feed).

Although I haven't researched what oil I will use ( just another job) I
would suggest a high quality gear oil rather than engine oil.
certainly ATF is designed for clutches etc and doesn't have friction
modifiers etc.

I will try a bath lubrication first and if this is not sufficient I will try
spray feed - some extra complexity, is an understood!

If there's any suggestions I'm all ears!
