I also need to call Van's and ask about the gross weight of the "B" version of the RV-3. With the new wings, they = may allow a higher gross, though I doubt it. =20 =20 I have to go check the scales again because I still don't believe this. = The scales themselves are accurate when I stand on them, but the arms that = are being used to divide the weight are new, and I've never used them = before. He now offers an option of using his actual engine = parameters as a default, instead of the normal factory default (which is still an option).
