Tommy, my intake to exit area is approx 1.5 (not counting my louvers which
would probably increase it a bit. However, mine might be a bit on the larger
size and I probably lose some top speed to the increased drag.

My opinion (not data) is that if your cooling problem only occured on the
ground and not airborne then cooling fans MIGHT have merit.  However, at
flying airspeeds they might hinder airflow through the radiators more than
help, just hard to tell.
