When the intake starts on the second rotor, the suction will be enough to at least reduce the amount of air that would have otherwise made it into the first rotor. Then again, if the velocity of the air is high enough in the combined primary runner, perhaps that would overcome the negative. It's just hard to say, but I'm not sure I'm willing to cut up my intake to find out yet. Cheers,

Tracy talked somewhere about the siamesed center ports on his old carb setup costing significant power. The rotors definitely steal from each other & it kills intake tuning.
