Since you have checked the obvious,  you might try checking some less obvious things like whether your EC2 ground wires are truly are grounded.

I checked the ground on the EC2 box, ground stud and pin. I even checked the back side of the pins on the EC2 board for 12v and ground. There's power in the box. Interestingly enough I see a quick change in the NOP reading when I switch the EC2 on via the regular switch, or via either injector circuit. It flashes an rpm number, like 5 or so, briefly, then reverts to its annoying "NOPE" message. I'm pretty sure this indicates that its receiving power.
