I can't figure if they're going for $95 or $6.50. Says winning bid $5.24, list price $95 or something. That's too much of a stretch. How much really? I need some ... Jim S.

Try this eBay link for optical liquid level sensors:

If the link doesn't work, go to ebay and type "els-1100" or "gems level
switch".
These were discussed awhile back on this list. I just wrote the seller to
find he has 30 and would probably sell all at sale price. They list for
about $90.00 each. They went unpurchased on his last listing. Before that
they went for $6.50.

GEMS web site: http://www.gemssensors.com type "els-1100" in search window.
They should work for fuel level warning lights, to trigger a tranfer fuel
pump relay, or water level low indicators (overflow tank only as high temp
limit is low). Model for sale is 10-28V. I don't understand the "dry"
probe (normally open circuit when wet, they closed when dry? or other way
around?).
