You can't buy hull insurance on anything for less than $1000. They figure that one year's premium will pay for just about anything that can happen that won't hurt you pretty bad. I tend to agree (provided you're the builder). Al airplanes are most likely another issue altogether. Are they refusing to quote just liability? ...
