Don't bother checking the tach.  I have a prop tach and it says the engine tach is correct - sorry 'bout that.  But, it was a 60F day so the denser air help - there! feel better {:>)?  My prop is 74 x 88, beginning to wonder if I should have left it at 76 (the devil made me say that Rusty).

Actually, I would rather make an entire intake manifold that build another fiberglass duct {:>).

" I've measured mine a number of times, and I recall that they're essentially 1-5/8, which of course works out to about 41mm.  The TWM site only lists 40 and 42 for the 2900 series, so I'm not sure exactly which one I have. "

OK, in the above quote, what I meant was- they don't list a 41mm, only a 40mm and a 42mm.   For the record, I know they make larger sizes (so quit telling me <g>).

Actually, I do have a 44mm TWM with 4 injectors, but the bolt pattern and runner spacing is different, and it wouldn't help, because my runners are the same size as my current TB.

I'm going to have to do something about this, because Ed is kicking my ass with his numbers (assuming Clark isn't playing a practical joke on me when he said he reduced my prop from 74x88 to 74x80).  I figure I can either make a new intake, and get more power, or send a goon squad out after Ed on night to keep him quiet.  Now, I really do like Ed, but I also hate the thought of making a new intake :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (planning to check Ed's tach)
