Still need to make it Pretty = but the fabrication is completed. To help the fiberglass set to the = cowl opening, I placed it on the radiator and fired up the engine. = After warm-up I goosed it to wide open throttle and achieved 6200 rpm = static - need to reprogram the upper end of the EC2 as I ran out of = mixture as I hit 6200. So I think there may be a couple more RPM in the = engine as it continues to break-in. If breaking it in using synthetic oil rather than the traditional = mineral oil is causing any problem the engine doesn't appear to know it = yet. So - very please with that development and will be glad to install the = new duct "permanently" tomorrow and go flying.
