Hi=20 Dave,

I have = the large VFD in=20 my RV-3, and figured bigger was better when I got it.  I'm less = than=20 thrilled with the direct sunlight readability of the display = though.  When=20 I ordered the second EM-2 for my Kolb, I opted for the LCD screen.  = From=20 speaking with Tracy, it sounds like the LCD is more readable in direct = sunlight,=20 but perhaps not as nice as the VFD at other times.  I plan to take = a look=20 at the LCD display in comparison to the VFD, and decide which I like = better, but=20 this won't happen for at least a few weeks.  If the LCD is that = much more=20 readable, I'll probably trade in my large VFD display for an=20 LCD.

It looks = like the=20 Velocity has a roof of sorts, so direct sunlight might not be an = issue with=20 you.  If not, then I'd go with the large VFD.

Cheers,
