George (down under) I am surprised you never heard of it as its just common practice = with people I know that are drag racing. Rob told me to do this when I showed him a set of rotors that had = signs of scuffing at the tips and the side housing also showed scuffing = from the tips digging in, Rob said that he has never seen any problems = with compression loss or anything and theres no problem having them lose = but there is problems having them tight, I have over 1000 hrs running = them like this and have never seen the scuffing at the tips that I had = in the early days, its cheep insurance. Dave Atkins also clearances his rotors but he only cuts one side. Ken That's off each side, Rob at Pineapple racing takes 20 = thousandths off each side but I figured the 15 should do it.
