source of info on "building hoses"?
Yes you CAN use the rubber clad hose and AN fittings. Earl's performance flex hose and fittings or Aeroquip are almost interchangeable. (not quite, don't try it) Both have an excellent rubber clad to AN hose end. Earl's ends are available in aluminum in the large sizes and have a hose end swivel feature which makes routing and set-up much easier. Holley, the performance giant ate Earls a while ago. I believe you can download the Earls catalog from their site. It is worth having while you plan the hoses out. For those in the group that don't know about it a GREAT book is available written by Carrol Smith called NUTS,BOLTS,FASTENERS and PLUMBING Handbook. This is one of the most useful racers reference books around. If you're building an airplane or race vehicle YOU NEED THIS BOOK. Highly recomended, he explains why to use certain fasteners in certain places, and where you don't need to spend the extra money. Available on Amazon, I've gone thru 2 of them. That and the Earl's catalog will set you straight on most things.
