No personal experience, just an impression
that the 3mm seals being heavier may cause more wear on the housing walls than
the ligher 2mm. I know they are used, but I have also heard that some
milling of slots by some parties is less precise than needed. But, if you
are having good results - I certainly wouldn't tear down the engine to replace
them. {:>)

thought that, if the new 2mm seals were indestructible, the the 3mm one should
be about right for me. :) I've discovered that the
weight has no effect at all when the rotors won't spin
:(
