     Unfortunately, the 120,000 mi FD is a rarity. As I said before, I was
actively looking for one, but went with the 300ZXTT becuase of the
reliability problems. My friend who worked at the dealership from the early
70s until about '98 also cautioned me of all the engine troubles. I don't
know why, but they just don't last long at that kind of boost.  Mike C.

I have heard of that mortality myself, especially on the 93s. However, I
have also encountered FD owners who have over 120,000 miles on the
original engine and turbos. I think some ecu tables were changed in the
