They are using an Oil to water system.  Could someone give me a quick description of what an Oil to Water cooling system is?  They claim less cooling drag and more room in the cowling with this system.  Is anyone on this list using one?  Thanks in advance.

Oil to water just means that your using water to cool the oil, rather than air.  Assuming you can put your oil cooler inside the radiator tank, you won’t have to mount a separate oil cooler.  Even if you use a stand alone oil/water heat exchanger, you still save the hassle of running air duct to it.

I had two heat exchangers installed in my radiator tanks, and hope that will be enough to control the oil temps.  Should know in a month or so.

Rusty

Thanks Rusty.  I can’t wait to hear how it turns out.
