True, without dyno testing who knows what it does. So talk to someone
who does dyno development work on rotaries - Tracy's not the only
source of info around. Take a look at Paul Yaw's website - used to be lots of
info there on intake and exhaust tuning. And he does all his stuff using dyno
and flowbench testing. No guesstimating.

I had a couple of discussions with Paul about the intake design before
I had it built. His opinion was that it should work just fine, and we
talked about flow velocity (one of his favorite subjects). Overall he
thought that the easy breathing would compensate for lack of tuning, but I don’t
recall that we discussed specific RPM. There’s no doubt about
getting power at higher RPM.
His testing has all involved ported or turboed engines, nothing
directly comparable.
