A typical mid-grade gasoline from US Oil and Refining Co has a flash point of -43°C; all gasolines and similar hydrocarbon liquids will have flash points below the freezing point of water. This means that at ANY reasonable ambient temperature, there are dangerous quantities of fumes above any substantial amount of gasoline. The boiling point is a bit problematic; the gasolines cited above lists 9 or 10 ingredients, many of which are themselves mixtures, and many of which have rather different boiling points. And different gasolines, even from the same company, will have different ingredients, allegedly fine-tuned to meet the octane rating and the local air quality standards. (stolen from one of ask jeeves's expert's answer, just can't remember who.)
