I see. So there is a tight clearance between the shaft and bearing, such that the oil has a hard time squirting out the sides.
The rear bearing for my prop shaft is inside the sun gear, and the shaft is tapered so there is no way to add an additional beaing. Hmmm... Back to ye' ol' drawing board.
