I actually get excited knowing that all this information is a click and a search away. It's actually better than a shelf full of textbooks. I bookmarked the search link as soon as I saw it. Like one of the other guys whose post I just deleted, I have a huge folder of past postings that can now disappear. Here's an idea for 'importing' all the old information. Paste the whole thing in one huge block into a message and send it to the list. It's ugly, but quick, easy, and at least the info will be there and searchable. A compromise between individual messages and one huge chunk would be several small chunks. Should only take a few minutes vs days. Create a bogus email address with a name like 'old_list' or something, and then when a search returns one of the old message blocks we'll know what we're getting. -- ----Because I can---- http://home.nc.rr.com/deltabuilder ------------------------ [When I moved The Lists (this one and the Lancair list) over to the new servers the gentleman who provides the hosting wrote a script to import all the old Lancair email into that new list. I'm sure he can do that for us as well, I just need to pull the old stuff all together into one place... I've got it all, it's just a bit organized. Hang in there, I'll get it done one of these days. ]
