  You'll notice in this post it starts out with a "Posted
for...." and that's because I moved it into the back room to clip the
earlier
text you left behind,<<<<

D'oh. After what I just said, then I forget to trim it myself....

OK, Ed & Tracy. You two are probably the best and worst. Some of the best
information and the worst  for having your posts edited. I know it probably
sounds like nit-picking, but it might help make the archives even more
useful (and lighten Marv's workload), if you trim your posts before
replying. Not that I don't pay attention to others postings but I usually
pay particular attention to you guys and a few others due to your experience
and attitude.

Marv;
Is there any plan to put the list back on auto at anytime in the future?
Your absences are noticeable, but obviously no one wants to be "married to
the list" Before this list was bombarded with viruses last year, I found it
a little quicker to get responses to questions when it was automatic. I
understand that quote backs can't be trimmed when done automatically, but a
few regular reminders might help.

[Given the preponderance of viruses out there and the amount of extraneous info that gets in when I put the list on autopilot I don't have any immediate plans to automate again.  As for the reminders you suggest... they haven't worked in the past, need I say more?  This doesn't make anyone a bad person, I'm just _way_ picky about The List.  IHTH.           <Marv>                ]
