Are your fuel pressure settings a bit high?  I am using the stock regulator, and I run around 34 psi at idle.  It is higher with more map, but I have my alarm set so it does not go off at idle.  The factory spec is 34 to 40 psi from that regulator.

For fuel pressure, I like it to run about 43 psi. I have my low pressure
redline set at 35 psi. I have found the engine will run on as little as 25
psi, but it is irratic and overly lean any time it drops below 35 psi.. I
would probably set my annunciator to alarm around 38 psi - assuming you are
running normal fuel pressure.
