I am not sure what is up with CCI. Maybe Fred is just not doing enough business and has to keep his day job. Maybe he has too much business for his small shop. The other option is to contact Mistral and see when they will have the rear (front) covers ready. This is a really nice option because it also fixes the water pump housing issue and may help retain value for resale (converting back to a lyc). The problem is that there is still no firm first production date and I expect the cost to be much more than the CCI mount. Hang in there Joe, if there is any consolation - it took me more than 6-months and almost as much money to make my own, and I am not really happy with it. Dave Leonard Has anyone on this list actually received an engine mount from CCI? I am trying to figure out how to move my project forward in the engine mount department so I can get into the fun stuff like exhaust and cooling. I ordered a mount from CCI in August last year subsequent to being quoted a 6 week lead time. In Novemeber, CCI stated they had one more to finish before starting on mine, now this week I am told it will be another 4 to 6 weeks. With respect to delivery, every communication from CCI has been grossly wrong so I can not belive the latest 4 to 6 week info is credible. Does anyone have any business experience with CCI in the last 6 months that is different than what I have decsribed? Has anyone on this list actually ordered and recieved a mount in the last 6 months? Should I wait another 6 weeks or look for another alternative? Any info is appreciated.
