It helps lub the seals. And use regular non-synthetic oil in the crankcase cause that is what the oil metering system uses to drip into the housings. ------------------------ Thanks for the additional comments Mark. I've read lots of suggestions to use 4 oz of MMO or 2-cyle oil in the fuel, and have just started doing that myself.
