The suggestion is to answer all threads at the END of the mail and not at the beginning like most e-mail programs will set you up to do. If it is a long thread, like the present EWP one, it gets quite old to scroll forth and back and stay sync with the order of answers given!:( Actually, our favorite list provider (Marvin) has a pet peeve too. He has asked on many occasions that we NOT continue to quote old messages. He would like us to only quote a relevant piece of the message. Since he archives this stuff for us, it would save a bunch of disc space. Sometimes when I see multiple messages quoted within a single message, I just imagine Marvin beating his head against the keyboard :-) I personally like colors (as you may have noticed), because it makes it easy to see the new text. As for the subject abuse, that's been mentioned before. I don't really recall anyone violating that today. It's hard for me to imagine having to live with only dial-up these days. If it were my only option, I'd spend the food budget on semi-high speed from DirecTV for $99/mo. Just too dependent on internet. Actually, our favorite list provider (Marvin) has a pet peeve too.  He has asked on many occasions that we NOT continue to quote old messages.  He would like us to only quote a relevant piece of the message.  Since he archives this stuff for us, it would save a bunch of disc space.  Sometimes when I see multiple messages quoted within a single message, I just imagine Marvin beating his head against the keyboard :-)
