Tracy, the news about Powersport is sad (if confirmed)
but doesn't surprize me a bit. One can not have their
product fly for less than a couple hundred hours and
charge $6,500 for an unproven PSRU. I talked to them
a couple times the last couple years about "cutting me
a deal" and I would have my Long EZ parked right next
to their RV at OSH. They said they can't afford it. I was thinking they can't afford not to! I just sent
$2,950 to Canada for a Marcotte. Both you and
Marcotte make a fine product at a reasonable prise. Isn't that the name of the game? See you at LAL!

It has not been independantly confirmed yet but
Powersport may be winding
down their operation. According to a Powersport
customer who contacted me
in search of an alternative engine controller, their customers have been
notified that they will not be receiving engine
controllers (already paid
for) unless they pay an additional $22,500.00.
