Ah ha!  Then you do not want the Saginaw fittings for that purpose.  I know that you can replace the barbs on Tracy's pumps with threaded fittings, but I do not   know the size.  I am certain that Tracy would know - if he ever got back on line with us.
 
I have been waiting for my pumps to get old so I could replace them with the types you can use the screw fitting on - but they just keep pumping along.

Here is another reference to the GM filter with the Saginaw connectors.  They also had the Saginaw connectors but only already attached to a fuel line or tube (stainless steel)

I’m actually looking to replace the fittings on the pumps I bought from Tracy. They come with  hose barb ends and I want to make them AN.
