I have to assume this because if you had them you wouldn't be asking some of the question you have. As far as customer service goes, TCM is generally pretty good about providing it. They don=92t however provide hand-holding service. The gasket you want is only $1.33 - p/n 649982. You can find this info at TCM Link or in the parts manual. Keep in mind part numbers are frequently superseded. The required gasket sealant is a TCM product called Gasket Maker which is TCM p/n 646942. It=92s a semi liquid that hardens when deprived of oxygen. The torque for the nuts on the fuel pump attaching hardware is 180-220 inch-pounds using a calibrated torque wrench. The complete procedure on how to properly install the fuel pump is in the Overhaul Manual page 18-30. Get the books: Permold Series Overhaul Manual for IO-550-A, B, C, G, N - p/n X30568A Permold Series Maintenance Manual IO-550-A, B, C, G, & N - p/n X30634A IO-550 Series Parts Catalog - p/n X30569A If you bought a new TCM engine you should have a copy of the Operation and Installation Manual - p/n X30565. You should also subscribe to the TCM service bulletins or use TCM Link. With a new engine you can take advantage of TCM Link. Go to tcmlink.com and check it out under Aviator Services. You can go there to check out service bulletins and parts information. The gasket and Gasket Maker and manuals can all be ordered from a TCM distributor or most any FBO should be able to order them for you. If all else fails I can get them for you and I take VISA and Master Card. With regard to your gyro question I had the same one on a similar AIM gyro. The gyro should be caged whenever it is not in use. After startup and the gyro is up to speed uncage the gyro with a deft twist of the knob. Prior to shutdown be sure to cage the gyro, again with a deft twist of the knob. If you don't do this the gyro will bang on the stops as it spins down. Sorry if I sound a little condescending regarding the TCM stuff but as I'm sure you know, you're not building a go-kart.
