Unfortunately MT was and probably still is the only mfgr. with a CS Prop which will give a reasonable ground clearance with the 235 frame, hence the $$. I've had an "early" (1992) three blade which had bronze gears, they stripped one night with a very close call to get the plane down safely. The present design has mechanical over and under speed control and the blades (106 profile)and hub with strengthened gearing are all doing well. I still avoid rain when ever possible, it's ruined a wood FP prop years ago.
