I found them to be a very nice inclusion....and really accomodated the extra width of the outback gear. The panels were foam core with 2 bid per side and the trim line was scribed right into the panel. It was easy to trace the panels on the lower skin and make the cuts. I think it's one of the many good things about Lancair. I got all the extra changes incorportated in my late kit.
