Regardless of the original intended use for those parts, try the "Burt Rutan
Check" to see if you really want to find a place for them.

It goes like this:

Step 1: Throw the parts up in the air.

Step 2: Check to see if they come down.

Step 3: If answer to Step 2 is "Yes", throw them out - they're too heavy to
install in you airplane anyway.

Simple!
