You can order what you want but I don't think any of the Legacy options are actually available.I know: The rudder pedals are not done. They were hoping to use the 360 design but that did not work out.The baffling and exhaust still need to be done etc. Maybe by the time you get the kit you will get all the parts that are suppose to be in the kit. I am trying to close my stub wings and constantly running into parts I actually don't need to install but would like to have to check interference issuses. It would be nice to have the main gear doors too. Bottom line is that there are many back orders in current kits. Many times the reason is they are tweaking the design so when you get yours it may go together easier. Speaking of hydralics. Unless you are a pipe bending guru, buy at least one extra 10 foot piece of 1/4" and 1/2" tube so it can be shipped full length with your kit. At least for me, I sometimes have to try twice for a fit. Also check your parts list for the following (It may be fixed before you get your kit). The kit came with 2 - 45 degree bulkheed fittings and the planes call for 9.Vern gave me some(then I found 3 more in the plans). Rob's comment about bolt sizes is a good one (The AN3-14 bolts for the main door cylinder should be AN3-13 for example). There are probably many more parts issues that builders further along thanI could recount. It would be nice to start a list so builders going to Redmond for the workshop can review their materials list and exchange/correct issues before they leave. Now that Carsten's plane is (nearly) done. I am sure many of these issues of finishing the manual, correcting the bill of materials, and finishing the firewall forward parts will move forward as there is actually a complete airplane to document from. I talked to Orin before I made my order and he provided some guidance about when to order stuff.Example: speed brakes, These you can buy but you don't install them till the end so why not wait for the "new model" (there always is one right after you buy yours) or even fly the plane and see if you want them first.
