Thanks for your insights. After reading George's answer to my questions, I doubt if
Continental will let their FADEC get that aggressive, especially if they ship the
standard fuel injectors with it. I did not know about GAMI's development. Since they
are such solid proponents of LOP, I would guess that they would permit their FADEC
to operate in this range, provided ... all other criteria are met (read - matched
fuel flows through the nozzles, specific models of engines, etc.). Is this a fair
guess? George?  TCM (if your on this freq.)?

Also, based on his answer, I rather suspect that they will have an electronic
ignition module that will do what the others do not.

Hope they let the cat out of the bag before we are ready to install the IO-550!
