There are numerous hi peel strength adhesives made by Hysol and others. The ones made for aerospace - like 9339 - are made to stricter properties than the non aerospace and they all start (if I recall) with the numeral 9 in their designation. There are some others for the marine market and general markets that have similar properties as well. I have tried some sample alternatives from Hysol and have been very impressed with the results. All were aerospace so no savings was contemplated, but I think with testing, you'd find that the lower cost ones would be just as good, if the peel strengths are the same.
