If you spend the extra few dollars for the Lord mounts you may or may not gain anything. Barry will give you a nice little MagLite if you send them your receipts for a set of their mounts which replace Lord mounts. I have given away many and still have two of my own. It has their logo on it and is a nice electric blue color. I have it in my hand now. Aircraft certificated in the normal or utility categories will have in their parts manuals an order in which to install various part number mount assemblies. Often the upper right and lower left are the same or the top and bottom are, likewise, the same part number. In such a case it is very unsafe to rotate the mounts out of sequence. Those aircraft must meet type design. The bolt lengths are sometimes incorrect. The washer stack is never wrong. Only use the large area washers supplied or their exact replacement. It is foolish to shim an engine up with those washers rather than spend the few dollars for new mounts. The labor alone is much more than the price of the mounts and there is no price on piece of mind. Regarding bolt length, adding or omitting the small washers under the head or the nut will change that length. Always use engine nuts. They are all steel AN 363. Use new nuts and bolts. Always use new shock mounts. This is a really stupid place to cheap out. If your engine doesn't center up in the cowl like it used to... spend some money! And for God's sake, put away the hammer.
