For a homebuilder this is next to useless. One of us needs to call the factory and get this critical number in a format we can use, to wit, inches aft of the firewall, and post it for the rest of us. The Lancair manual describes where the datum is. I don't have it with me but as I recall, it's one of the faces of the firewall. Don't recall whether is the front or back side. Nor, if the front, whether it's at the plywood surface or the stainless surface. This is critical. Let's get it nailed down right. I'm too busy (on travel) to call the factory today, maybe someone else can do it. - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
