Any advise?
There is a VERY strong radio transmitter almost directly underneath my
usual
flight path back to my home field. Just when I need to be "calling home",
the
reception of local radio drowns everything. Anyone else with this
experience?
I have many antennas in the plane (2NAV, 2COM, ADF, DME, GS, GPS, TSP) but
today
had the un-nerving experience, that local radio dominated when ALL were
switched
off - and, incredible, even when the Intercom volume (with Bose headsets)
was
turned down to zero !
Any ideas how its getting into the headsets?
PS - I am not sure which frequency this antenna is supposed to be emitting
on,
since the station involved is a national radio for Netherlands and
transmits
some programmes simultaneously on Medium, VHF and short wave band.
