I don't know how they make it work. The only operational restriction on the "BOTH" position was set by the FBO, who requested that it not be parked in the "BOTH" position, since a slight tilt (or rocking due to the heavy local winds) could start fuel siphoning out of the overflow vent. Once that started, the fuel would crossfeed, thus enhancing the tilt, and all the fuel ended up on the ramp (or so they said). In flight, the only position I ever used was "BOTH". Seemed to work just fine. I don't know what their secret is.... - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
