Calvin,
As a professional aircraft accident investigator and a IVP builder there is something to be learned from Tony's accident. This is not a gruesome
discussion of morbid details but has been a rather revealing discussion of
possible problems with airplane-- maybe fuel related and possibly restraint system related-- that we all fly. To name names is part of the game. If Tony flew it and crashed itor John built it then it is so-- a fact worth mentioning and a matter of public record.
If Mr. Kerner built it and his name is listed as the builder then it is a
Kerner IVP not a Lancair IVP.
Nobody on this forum has cast any aspersions on anyone's reputation as a
pilot or builder in the posts that I have seen on this forum. If you are too upset to deal facts of the case then I suggest you don't open the mail. Meanwhile, I think the rest of us can learn something from an open discussion of the facts.
