We have the new fast build type which has the internal formers and sternpost premade and installed. It is pretty but doesn't fit. The problem is this: with the vert stabs' "foot" resting on the horiz stab rear spar the sternpost does not reach the bottom of the fus. There is a 1/2" gap between the bottom of the sternpost and the skin of the fus. I cannot move the horiz stab and really don't want to cut the "foot" off the vert stab off and rebuild it. Surely, I won't cut away the aft spar cap of the horiz stab. But to make the rudder blend with the bottom of the fus it looks like one or the other must be done. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I have a defective part? Is there a fix out there?
