Magnetos are set at sea level and only read engine RPM.  All electronic units
automatically adjust in flight, adjusting from RPM and manifold pressure.  
Your service ceiling will go up.  Your fuel flow will go down.  Your engine
will run smoother.  It will start easier.  And it's a solid state system with
no moving parts to wear out.  I've used 2 dif systems, Lightspeed Engineering
and Electroair.  Both are great systems.  Both are better than any magneto.  
I've never asked about the lightening strike.  I think you'd have more
problems than just the elec ignition unit.  Can't comment on the fuel system,
never used it.
