This represents the flow of air between each valve position. You then exhale it through the exhaust valve in 6 different positions to find out the CFM of each position per cylinder. Upon CFM info retrieval you are then able to determine HP. Adjusting up from here is welcome to either get the cylineders to where the engine is rated to or pay approx $100 per port to go down to 1% intake 3% exhaust. Depending on the 4 cylinders, since it's a match set, determines what the HP will be. You flow to the lowest cylinder. The cylinder repair shop I work with is continually improving. This is a yellow tag procedure and he is one of the few in the country that I've found who can do this modification. The company is Aircraft Cylinder Repair, Owner John, 303-659-7101, located in Brighton, CO, east of Denver. Tell John that Chuck sent ya! I've had great results and have used this procedure on 4 of my previous engines. If interested I can post previous graphs showing the airflow through six dif positions. Venture Valve Guide - The guide and seat are a set unit, together they make the venture effect. You can obtain one from John. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
