Gentlemen of the list:

Since someone just posted a note regarding Tonys crash in Flagstaff I will
post this.

I will make this short as I am about to leave for the airport to fly from Los
Angeles to assist the NTSB and FAA in the investigation of the crash of N424E
which was the Lancair IVP which Tony was flying when he lost his life
yesterday.

At this point it would be premature to comment on exactly what transpired but
I have to say that whatever happened Tony Durrizzi was a friend and one of
the top pilots I have ever had the occassion to know.   He flew with me and
signed me off for the Lancair IVP and worked tirelessly to tweak the plane to
perfection.

I will miss him he and was a rare man among men.

As I am sure Tony would have wanted, I will report what I learn from the
accident scene and from the investigators.

In sadness.
