Not only does the stream break off intermittently but you also get flanging (cool sound effect but not what you want during a conversation) - signs of timing issues. It shouldn't really matter because who would really want to have a phone conversation at those speeds in a car??? BTW I guess this would all end once cell phones use packetized transfers like GPRS for voice connections also. On a different note; Boeing has released a paper describing possible ways forward in the terrestrial/satellite navigation issue in http://www.boeing.com/atm/pdf/Detailed_Concepts.pdf, a very interesting read I should think.
