His phone number is 619-449-6251 and his web site is www.jakeore.com . Jake runs a builder assist shop and has 5 other guys working there. He's been in the business for over 16 years and really knows his stuff. They'll do as much or as little as you want as long as you give him a minimum amount of work every month (you'd have to talk to him about that). He has every tool you could ever need to build the plane, gives you a key to the hangar so you can stay late or work when they're not there and has access to every conceivable kind of support you'll need from hardware to materials to avionics installers, etc. He charges $28/hr which is far less than anyone else I know of. One particular benefit is the body work they do at the shop, which is beautiful. Lancair never mentions body work in their brochures, but it's HUGE part of the project and really makes the difference between a show plane and a piece of junk. They'll show you how to do it right and do the crappy jobs that you won't want to do. When my plane is done, all the body work will be finished and the plane will be in primer. I'd recommend that you call Jake and stop by the shop for a visit. Right now he has two 360's, a Legacy and my ES there as well as a IV that's in another hangar waiting for the owner to get going on it again this summer.
