or duct tape the door edge,
fill the L slot with micro
place door into hole and rest a few lead bags on top.
when dry, bang it out and sand everything to increase the gap

then make a paper outline of the door.
place door in hole and micro over the hole gap :-)
when dry sand to perfection and trace door outline
  with paper outline from above..
with a V file, dig out that line, and bang door out again..

now that you have a perfect door, fit the hinge
on door and notice it wants to pivot on a different axis
than the aircraft side... now put flox a pad to the door
to try to reach that axis... then flox more on that pad
because the trailing edge must set inside the hole first because its
being pulled by the front (you want it torque abit so
it stays shut) then dig a trench in the door for the hinge
to sit inside the door to make the hinge gap less.. redo the
flox pad again.. trim the back of the door because its
on the other side of the hinge and it hitting the L seal.

then its perfect..

dug the trench, but am still waiting for the gear feet to see how much
foam can be added to the door.. (air in an I beam is the strength)
