I would like to use the method of securing hoses to each other in the
engine compartment using two nylon tie wraps as described in the
standard-build manual for the 320/360. I've used cushioned clamps in
most places to the engine mount. There are some longer hoses (oil
cooler, oil breather, vacuum) that I would like to secure to each
other, and it sure would be quicker and easier to use a couple of tie
wraps at each intersection instead of the clamps. I remember reading
a post not too long ago that stated not to use tie wraps to fasten
things to the engine mount (vibrational wear). Does anyone see a
problem using the two-tie-wrap technique to fasten hoses together?
Thanks for the help.
