I built a set of the "fulcrum" style of scales many years ago to weigh all four
points (tires) of my race cars.  They are made up of  bathroom scales and a
"fulcrum" operated pad you place the wheels on. The bathroom scales were the
most expensive part of the equation at about 10.00 each. I checked the accuaracy
of the scales and they were right on with the race track's digital scales. I am
trying to remember the calculation but I believe with four wheels it was add 25%
to the indicated weight. I can provide pictures and measurments of anybody is
interested.
